The Chris Brogan Holiday Photo Project

Recently superblogger Chris Brogan suggested we do a holiday photo project and "take a snap that represents what REALLY is going on." My experience tells me if Chris Brogan suggested it then it's prolly a good idea. So here goes.

But wait a minute, one of the deep dark secrets of real Vermonters is that they are intensely private people! This does not bode well for aspiring bloggers who need to gain cred with their readers by baring their souls and personal lives. And how would reserved hicks like me ever live down posting pics of "Aunt Bernise with her teeth out" or my "crying daughter", given the Vermonter inbred privacy neurosis? In spite of that, I am a fool with a camera, who is not ashamed to post a Sunday Gallery every week, so maybe all is not lost.

Here are some holiday photos you definitely WONT see anywhere else, even on Chris Brogan's blog. Exhibit A: Ginger's new fleece sweater. Ginger, our 5 year old Corgie-Chihuahua sporting her new doggie sweater! That's enough to make any Corgie OR Chihuahua envious.

Exhibit B: Frankie in his holiday finery dressed for success! Frankie is our 3 year old abandoned-in-a-cornfield all-white kitty. Frankie is known for his ability to meow like a hawk! This photo was taken BEFORE he got his wet food treat!

Exhibit C: Two happy free-ranging sheep on my dad's lawn on Christmas morning. What could be more natural? Sorry, I didn't get their names as they became a bit "wild and wooly".

Happy Holidays and a big THANK YOU to @ChrisBrogan for the inspiration! It may not be Aunt Bernaise but my relatives will still talk to me (most of them, that is!)

Thanks for sharing this, very nice. Do we get to see Ginger (in her sweater) playing with the sheep next? :)

HaHa! Ginger would be only too happy to torment her sheep friends!

Love your four-eggeds! I also like Frankie's pose, not to mention his ability to mew like a hawk? Useful skills! Happy New Year!

Frankie will be flattered to hear that you admire his screech. I think his cry might come in handy if all else fails in a cat fight of his life!
