I was lamenting the late summer season flowers going by, dropping their bright petals to the ground, falling over to make way for explosions of fall mums and mountain asters, and eventual fireworks of autumn. Culling through my collection of macro flower shots brought back romantic memories of delicate scents and breezes that are fading memories now. Before I can let them recede into the past I can't resist looking one more time on the glistening leaves, tender blooms and pregnant pistils we enjoyed during the dog days of summer.
